Remember, Reader, looking at a business month by month makes patterns harder to ignore and easier to correct, especially under real constraints.
This is a brief review of what mattered, what shifted, and what stayed steady for me this month, based on decisions already in motion, the signals they reinforced, and the adjustments it required.
1. The Overall
What kind of month this was at a strategic level in one sentence.
February was an architectural month focused on deepening what already exists.
2. The Reality
What actually moved and what didn’t in the business.
- Launched and hosted a new middle-of-funnel event within one week of conception.
- Secured speaking engagements through April (1 in March, 2 in April, with May in discussion).
- Made two strategic investments tied to annual goals.
- Pre-scheduled and sequenced work in preparation for extended travel in March.
- Revenue held steady.
3. The Numbers
The metrics I paid attention to this month.
Office Hours Invites Sent: 50
Speaking Engagements Secured (Dec 2025–April 2026): 6 confirmed
Major Strategic Investments: 2
Days Socially Offline Due to Deep Work: More than usual
4. The Removals
What was stopped.
- Pressure to add new initiatives outside the plan.
- Narrative that visibility alone drives revenue.
- Idea that middle-of-funnel should be and is passive.
- Impulse to widen my offer ecosystem.
5. The Additions
What I intentionally reinforced or introduced.
- A repeatable middle-of-funnel conversion mechanism.
- Defined success metrics before launching any experiment.
- A constraint: go deeper, not wider.
- Structural thinking around speaking → ecosystem → sale pathways.
6. The Adjustments
What this month clarified or confirmed for my business.
The architecture between top-of-funnel attention and bottom-of-funnel decision needed to be designed for conversion at every step.
February clarified that my bottleneck isn’t wholly visibility. It’s transition.
It also confirmed that my role is evolving into an expert on business structure, building repeatable systems that support growth, scale, and leadership.
Support structures, especially people and tech, inside the business will need to mature with that evolution.
7. The Carry-Forward
What I’m taking into next month.
March will focus on generating intentional one-to-one conversations to strengthen April’s next iteration of The Lab.
Consistency remains the operating principle.
Depth continues to be the discipline.
That is it for February 2026. The business is structurally stronger than it was 30 days ago with the push towards Q2 and beyond moving toward a conversion focused, busy year.
Until next month,
Chanaye
